Taoist Funeral 道教葬礼
Taoist funerals could be complex or simple, depending what the family prefers. Despite the variation of rituals done for different dialect groups, the common principles are to remind the living of filial piety and to help the deceased repent of sins they committed in their life, helping their souls transit into the next life and reincarnate into a human.
道教葬礼能复杂，也能简单化，取决于家人的决定。虽然不同方言群体的仪式有所不同，但共同的原则是百善孝为先，以减轻逝者生前所犯的罪孽，帮助他们的灵魂过渡到来世，转世为人。
Buddhist Funeral 佛教葬礼
A Buddhist funeral is typically held at the deceased home and its nearest void deck or at a funeral parlour. Prayers and chants are believed to assist the departed soul with a smooth transition in their afterlife. At such, A monk will be present to officiate the funeral alongside an experienced funeral director. Chantings and prayers will be performed by the monk throughout the funeral. Families may choose to include other rites like sermons, eulogies, and meditations.
佛教葬礼一般举行于逝者生前居住的政府组屋底层或殡仪馆。僧侣和经验丰富的礼仪师一起主持葬礼。在整个葬礼期间，僧侣将进行诵经和祈祷仪式以超度逝者的灵魂，让逝者得以安息。家庭成员可以选择举行其它仪式，如悼词和冥想等等。

Free-thinker Funeral

As free-thinkers do not have a fixed belief in any religion, there are no fixed procedures for a funeral process held for free-thinkers; they can be flexible and fully customisable by the bereaved family.

Sea Burial 海葬
Sea burial is chosen for many different reasons. Some believe that if one’s ashes are scattered into the sea, one’s soul will attain freedom, giving one a chance to travel around the world and be free in the afterlife.
We will arrange a ferry to transport you and your family out to sea, a designated site at about 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) south of Pulau Semakau where sea burial can be conducted.

This package is inclusive of standard selected casket, shifting from hospital, dressing the deceased (with clothes provided by next-of-kin), funeral pallbearers and hearse. This package is suitable for those who prefer not to hold a wake. A short memorial service can be conducted at the service hall of the crematorium before the cremation.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) has introduced Inland Ash Scattering (IAS) as an additional option for the management of cremated ashes in Singapore. The Garden of Peace，designed as an open garden setting，provides a respectful and dignified environment for the ash scattering process. The designated ash scattering lanes, lined with a bed of pebbles, allow the ashes to percolate into the soil beneath. Families can gather, view and take part in the scattering of ashes in a respectful and dignified manner, within a serene and tranquil garden setting.
